United Breaks Guitar
Speaking of consumers, it still remains unearthed as what immense power social media has given to consumers. Look no further, but read David Carroll’s story that he turned into a humorous song and posted on the youtube, which has seen more than 4 million visitors since. When United Airlines declined his claim for compensation for the guitar that they broke when he took a flight from Nova Scotia to Omaha. After repeated calls and attempts to reach United officials, David decided to take his crusade via social media to inform the world community about this mishap. He and his gang filmed a 4 minute 47 seconds long song titled “United Breaks Guitar”. This gig did rattle United Airlines who swung into action and contacted him the moment they realized the PR damage control they will have to do.

what to say...Let me choose a topic to begin with...
Was Michael Jackson a true genius or flawed. Difficult to say for somebody like me who can not more than 5 songs by him. But what I have gathered from the media bites and newsspapers...he never grew up. he died at age 50 by the way. But I believev this is what happens to child prodigies, especially in Hollywood. They get all the fame, attention, and money that become too much to handle. The resuslt, a life full of quirkiness, laxiity, and casualness that makes people love them more. Masses don't want the perfection since it could alineate their heroes from them. Masses want their heroes to be flawed, fall into trouble, and then repent for their mistakes, just like they themselves do. This way, they find a better connecct with their heroes. MJ was no doubt a wonderful and charismatic performer, his life events were mosatly sad and disturbinng.
By the way, I haven't seen him ever speaking or giving an interview. Did anyoone..
Watch for my next blog.
